When the time comes to make an adjustment to a player’s handicap using Cap Patrol, we highly recommend using the Member Adjustment Notification in Cap Patrol.
This letter will notify the selected member of their Handicap Adjustment, displaying their new index after adjustment. The letter provides several data points that lead to the decision, and gives a statistics as to how that golfer compares to the rest of the club.
The Member Adjustment notification will display the golfers data that lead to the handicap adjustment using the following categories
Cap Score Breakdown
Previous 12-month High & Low Breakdown
- Variance between current index vs. your historical ability
Home vs. Away Scoring Breakdown
- Variance between your home vs. away scoring
Competition Performance Breakdown
- Variance between your competitive vs. casual scoring
Event Point System Breakdown
- Points accrued from placing in Tournaments and Events in the club's Event Points System over the past 27 months
Turned-In Percentage Breakdown
- Percentage of scores turned-in this year
