Failure to Post - Sending Notices

How to view your Failure to Post Report and send Failure to Post Notices

Cap Patrol will deliver an email notice to the Club Admin listing any members that are scheduled to receive a Failure to Post violation. This is the Admin’s cue to review the Failure to Post list and issue Failure to Post notices. The email will appear as depicted

To view your Failure to Post report:

  1. Select Reports in the Left Side menu
  1. Select the CLUB tab
  1. Select the FAILURE TO POST tab
  1. Select your desired date Range

The Failure to Post report shows all rounds deemed “Failure to Post” from the date range you’ve selected. It will also show the number of violations in the current season for each respective member

From this Failure to Post Report you can complete the following functions

  • Preview the Failure to Post Notice email for each specific member
  • Excuse a Violation
  • Send the Failure to Post Notice to the member, which will register the violation.

Preview Failure to Post Notice

To preview the email a member will receive from their Failure to Post Notice select the preview icon 📝 in the corresponding member’s row

The Email preview will read as depicted, with the member’s information and violation number prepopulated.

Excuse a Violation

To Excuse a member of a violation click on the NO box in the corresponding member’s row under “Is Excused”

A dialogue box will appear on your screen. To excuse the violation, select “Yes”, then click the SAVE button This action will excuse the current violation make the member ineligible to receive Failure to Post Notice

Click the YES box again and change selection to “No” to undo the excuse and reestablish the violation

 

Sending Failure to Post Notices

To send Failure to Post Notices:

First, select the check box   in the corresponding member’s row of each member you would like to send a notice

You may also select all members on the Failure to Post Report by clicking the check box in the top left-hand corner on the report

Once you have your desired list of members to received notices, Click the “SEND NOTICES” button at the top right of the report

NOTE: If you do not wish to issue a penalty for a Failure to Post, excuse the violation using the steps shown in Excuse a Violation, rather than skip over sending the Failure to Post Notice.

If you do not excuse the violation, the next time that member appears on the Failure to Post Report, their violation # will progress. This causes the increased penalty to appear on their notice without the warning from their previous violation
