Establish a Handicap Committee

Declare the members of your handicap committee and grant them user access to Cap Patrol

World Handicap System (WHS) standards require that all clubs establish a Handicap Committee and provide committee members access to all handicap index records. Additionally, Clubs are required to produce documented policies and procedures in accordance with WHS guidelines and are encouraged to provide ongoing member education.

Establish Committee Members

To establish the members of your Handicap Committee within Cap Patrol you will need to create a committee profile for each committee member. To do so:

  1. Select Handicap Committee in the left-side menu
  1. Select COMMITTEE MEMBERS tab
  1. Click the + Add Member button at the top right hand corner of the screen

A pop up window will appear. Fill out all the required fields in the pop up window.

RECOMMENDED: Click the box reading “Create Cap Patrol Admin Account” to give this committee member access to Cap Patrol though their own login in. Their account will be a “Read Only” account, meaning the committee member can view all the reports in Cap Patrol but cannot make any changes to golfer data.

Click the Add Member button to save this committee member

NOTE: You can only designate one Handicap Chair
